Aquavolt uses rotational moulding to produce durable polyethylene tanks. This manufacturing process creates strong, seamless products with consistent material distribution.
The mould rotates slowly around two axes while the resin heats and spreads across its internal surface. Controlled cooling, finishing and inspection help the finished tank meet its intended specifications.
An illustrated overview of the six stages used in rotational moulding.

Select and measure polyethylene resin suitable for the intended product and specifications.
Prepare the mould and load the measured material before securely closing it.
Heat and rotate the mould on two axes to form the tank walls.
Control cooling; once sufficiently set, carefully remove the moulded tank.
Trim, finish and fit suitable openings, lids or connections as specified.
Check the finished tank against product requirements before release.
Individual product specifications, quality tests and process parameters can vary. The diagram is an overview rather than an operating instruction.
From raw resin to a finished and inspected product, every stage matters.
Measured polyethylene resin is placed inside a clean mould, which is then securely sealed.

The mould rotates on two axes in a heated oven as the resin melts and coats its inner surface.

The mould cools while continuing to rotate, helping retain its intended shape and wall thickness.

The cooled product is removed, trimmed, finished and inspected before fittings are added.

Rotational moulding produces dependable tanks intended for long-term service.
One-piece moulding without welded joins or seams in the body.
Controlled rotation supports even material distribution within the product.
Strong polyethylene construction designed for demanding use.
Managed processing and inspection help maintain manufacturing quality.

After moulding, the finished tank is trimmed and inspected for its intended characteristics, shape and finish. The process helps identify issues before the product is supplied.
From resin measurement through to final inspection, the focus is on creating polyethylene products that deliver reliable performance in their intended South African applications.
