WATER · ENERGY · STORAGE SOUTH AFRICA

Last Updated: 22 September 2026

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how AQUAVOLT handles the preparation, dispatch and delivery of products purchased or ordered through aquavoltafrica.co.za.

Because AQUAVOLT supplies products ranging from small accessories to large water tanks, transport requirements, delivery costs and timelines may vary depending on the product, quantity and destination.

1. DELIVERY AREAS

AQUAVOLT primarily supplies customers within South Africa and may provide delivery to other regions or countries depending on product availability, transport arrangements and destination requirements.

For deliveries outside our standard service areas, customers should contact AQUAVOLT before placing an order to confirm availability and shipping arrangements.

2. SHIPPING OPTIONS

Depending on the product and destination, available delivery options may include:

  • Standard delivery

  • Scheduled delivery

  • Dedicated transport

  • Collection from an approved AQUAVOLT location

  • Third-party courier services for smaller products

  • Freight transport for large or heavy products

The available delivery method will depend on the product, order size and delivery address.

3. DELIVERY COSTS

Shipping costs are calculated according to factors including:

  • Product size and weight

  • Number of products ordered

  • Delivery location

  • Distance

  • Transport requirements

  • Special handling requirements

  • Delivery access

  • Applicable freight or courier charges

Where shipping is not included in the displayed product price, the applicable delivery charge will be communicated before the order is finalised.

For large tanks, bulk orders and specialised products, customers may need to request a delivery quotation.

4. DELIVERY TIMES

Estimated delivery times vary according to:

  • Product availability

  • Order quantity

  • Destination

  • Transport availability

  • Order processing requirements

  • Public holidays

  • Weather or road conditions

  • Other circumstances beyond AQUAVOLT's reasonable control

If a specific delivery date is important, customers should contact AQUAVOLT before placing their order.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless a specific delivery commitment has been confirmed in writing by AQUAVOLT.

5. ORDER PROCESSING

Orders are generally processed after:

  1. The order has been received;

  2. Product availability has been confirmed;

  3. Payment or agreed payment arrangements have been confirmed; and

  4. Any required delivery information has been provided.

AQUAVOLT may contact customers to confirm product specifications, quantities, delivery details or other information required to fulfil an order.

6. LARGE TANKS AND SPECIALISED PRODUCTS

Large water tanks, chemical tanks, septic tanks, transport tanks, silos and other oversized products may require specialised transportation.

For these products:

  • Delivery may require dedicated transport;

  • Additional transport charges may apply;

  • Delivery dates may need to be arranged in advance;

  • Customers may need to provide suitable access to the delivery site;

  • Special unloading equipment may be required depending on the product and site.

Customers should ensure that the delivery location is suitable for receiving the ordered products.

7. DELIVERY ACCESS

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address can safely accommodate the delivery vehicle and product.

Before delivery, customers should consider:

  • Road access

  • Gate width

  • Turning space

  • Ground conditions

  • Overhead clearance

  • Site accessibility

  • Unloading space

  • Slopes or other obstacles

If access is restricted or unsuitable, additional delivery arrangements or charges may apply.

AQUAVOLT may postpone or refuse delivery where the delivery location presents an unreasonable safety risk or prevents safe unloading.

8. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY AT DELIVERY

Customers or an authorised representative should be available to receive the delivery where required.

Upon delivery, customers should inspect products for visible damage and confirm that the correct products and quantities have been delivered.

Any visible damage, shortage or incorrect product should be reported to AQUAVOLT as soon as reasonably possible.

Customers should retain delivery documentation where provided.

9. FAILED OR MISSED DELIVERY

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • Nobody is available to receive the order;

  • The address is incorrect or incomplete;

  • Access is unavailable;

  • The delivery vehicle cannot safely reach the site;

  • The customer is not prepared to receive the products; or

  • Other circumstances attributable to the customer prevent delivery,

additional delivery or re-delivery charges may apply.

AQUAVOLT will work with the customer to arrange a suitable alternative delivery time where reasonably possible.

10. COLLECTION

Where collection is available, customers may collect eligible products from an approved AQUAVOLT collection location.

Customers should not arrive for collection until AQUAVOLT has confirmed that the order is ready.

Customers collecting products are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle or transport arrangement is suitable for safely carrying the products.

Certain large or oversized products may require specialised transportation and may not be suitable for standard customer collection.

11. COURIER DELIVERY

Smaller products and accessories may be shipped using third-party courier services.

Courier delivery times depend on the courier provider and destination.

AQUAVOLT is not responsible for delays caused by third-party courier companies, although we will reasonably assist customers in following up on delayed shipments.

12. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

International delivery may be available for selected products.

International customers should contact AQUAVOLT before ordering to confirm:

  • Product availability

  • Shipping method

  • Freight costs

  • Delivery time

  • Customs requirements

  • Import duties

  • Taxes

  • Documentation

  • Destination restrictions

Unless otherwise stated, the customer is responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees and other charges imposed by the destination country.

13. DELIVERY DELAYS

AQUAVOLT will make reasonable efforts to meet estimated delivery timelines.

However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Road closures

  • Traffic

  • Transport disruptions

  • Supplier delays

  • Manufacturing delays

  • Equipment failure

  • Labour disruptions

  • Government restrictions

  • Customs delays

  • Force majeure events

Where AQUAVOLT becomes aware of a significant delay, we will endeavour to communicate relevant information to the customer.

14. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Some products may be manufactured or supplied to order.

Where a product is unavailable or requires additional manufacturing time, AQUAVOLT may provide an updated estimated fulfilment or delivery timeframe.

Customers will be contacted where an availability issue materially affects an order.

15. DELIVERY OF MULTIPLE PRODUCTS

Orders containing multiple products may be delivered:

  • Together; or

  • Separately,

depending on product availability, warehouse location, transport requirements and logistics arrangements.

Additional deliveries may have separate shipping charges where applicable.

16. SHIPPING DAMAGE

If a product appears damaged upon delivery, customers should:

  1. Photograph the product and packaging where applicable;

  2. Note the damage on the delivery documentation where possible;

  3. Notify AQUAVOLT as soon as reasonably possible; and

  4. Provide photographs and relevant order or delivery information when requested.

AQUAVOLT will assess reported damage in accordance with its Returns, Refunds and Warranty policies.

17. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION

Depending on the delivery method, AQUAVOLT or its logistics provider may obtain:

  • Delivery confirmation;

  • Signature;

  • Proof of delivery;

  • Photographic confirmation; or

  • Electronic delivery records.

These records may be retained as part of the transaction record.

18. SHIPPING FOR CUSTOM PRODUCTS

Custom-manufactured or specially configured products may have different production and delivery timelines.

Before production begins, AQUAVOLT may provide an estimated production and delivery timeframe based on the customer's requirements.

Custom products may also require specialised transport.

19. SHIPPING QUOTES

Where delivery costs cannot be calculated automatically, AQUAVOLT may provide a separate shipping quotation.

Shipping quotations may be based on the information available at the time and may be subject to changes resulting from:

  • Changes to delivery location;

  • Changes in quantity;

  • Changes in product configuration;

  • Transport availability; or

  • Additional site requirements.

The final shipping charge will be communicated before the relevant order or delivery arrangement is confirmed.
